Full Policies
General Makeup Services Policies
Please read our policies carefully before booking an appointment. These guidelines help us provide a smooth and professional experience.
1. Booking Deposit
A 35% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit will be applied to your total service fee.
2. Appointments Outside Regular Working Hours
Appointments outside our regular working hours and days (Monday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM) attract an additional ₦5,000 for studio appointments and ₦10,000 for home service appointments.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling
All appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least forty-eight (48) hours before the appointment date.
A deposit can only be used to reschedule one appointment. Once a deposit is made, if the client fails to show up for the appointment, the deposit is forfeited.
If the client has made full payment, any remaining balance due becomes invalid after four weeks.
4. Waiting and Lateness Policy
A 15-minute grace period is allowed. After the first 10 minutes, a 10% waiting fee based on the final service fee will apply. An additional 10% will be charged for every subsequent 30 minutes of delay or waiting time.
5. Payment Policy
Payment must be confirmed by our team before our artist leaves the client's location or before the client leaves the studio.
6. Price Review
Prices are subject to periodic review.
7. Changes to Booking Arrangements
Any significant changes to the agreed schedule, including time, location, or the number of people requiring makeup, should be communicated in advance and may affect the final service arrangement and pricing.
8. Additional Services and Artist Waiting Time
If the artist is requested to stay to complete additional services, such as touch-ups or makeup changes, a fee of 35% of the service fee per hour will be charged after the agreed time to be ready.
9. Guests and Children
One or two guests or children are allowed. Any damage caused must be paid for before the client leaves.
10. Health and Safety
Please inform us if you are sick. We reserve the right to refuse service if there are signs of infection or open wounds.
Bridal Makeup Policies
Please read our bridal makeup policies carefully before confirming your booking.
1. Location and Travel
If clients require the artist to travel, the client will cover round-trip logistics. This includes airport pickup and drop-off if travelling by air, conducive accommodation, and an out-of-town allowance.
If the location changes after booking, the rate may be reviewed accordingly.
2. Booking Confirmation and Payment
An initial 50% deposit and payment of the balance of the agreed charge must be made one or two weeks before the fixed date. This automatically confirms the booking.
3. Cancellation Policy
Any cancellations made on the day of the ceremony will be charged in full.
If the entire wedding party cancels within 30 days of the planned appointments, the initial deposit will be refunded less a 25% scheduling fee.
A deposit will be forfeited if less than 30 days' notice is given.
4. Client Schedule
Clients are required to provide a clear and finalized schedule of the event and makeup/touch-up requirements before the booking.
Any significant changes to the agreed schedule, such as time, location, or the number of people requiring makeup, should be communicated in advance, as this will determine the final service arrangement and pricing.
5. Touch-Up Deadline
All touch-ups must be completed before 6:00 PM.
Content Studio Space Policies
RENG Space is a curated content space for creatives to express themselves and explore. Our facilities accommodate brand shoots, content creation, photography, podcasts, and more.
Content Studio: ₦20,000 per hour
Beauty Space: ₦20,000 per hour
1. Makeup Sessions and Studio Access
While a makeup session is ongoing, other members of the team must remain in the makeup room. Loitering or sitting in the studio area implies that the client's shooting time has started.
2. Arrival Time
Clients are permitted to arrive at the studio only 20 minutes before their booking time and not earlier.
3. Overtime Charges
Hourly rates apply if a client extends their booking. For example, a booking extended to 1 hour and 20 minutes will be charged as 2 hours.
4. Photography and Videography Equipment
Studio bookings do not include photography or videography equipment. RENG Space can provide equipment at an additional cost.
5. Studio Handover
Clients must be packed and ready to leave at the end of their booking. The studio must be returned to its original state and prepared for the next client.
6. Personal Belongings
Clients are advised to take care of their belongings. RENG Space is not responsible for items lost or damaged at the studio.
7. Damage to Studio Property
Any damage to furniture, props, or equipment at the studio must be reimbursed before the client leaves.
8. Makeup Artist Charges
Clients bringing their own makeup artist will be charged ₦5,000 per hour. Clients using RENG Space's in-house makeup artist will not pay an additional fee for the space.
9. Booking, Timing and Cancellation
Studio time starts counting from the booked hour. For example, a booking from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM starts at 9:00 AM. Verbal appointments are not considered valid bookings. A 50% booking fee applies, the lateness fee is 10%, and the cancellation fee is 25%. Refunds are not offered, but clients may reschedule or swap their bookings.
